Natural Acne Scar Removal

Before you begin a routine that includes a natural home remedy for acne scars and marks, wash your face with warm water. It is advisable to test the natural product on a small patch of skin to make sure that it does not produce an allergic reaction or irritation. Also remember that all of the following remedies can be diluted with water to produce a gentler mixture.

Garlic

Garlic is on of those wonder foods that seem to be good for all kinds of ailments. In addition to being a wonderful seasoning for all kinds of foods it has also been used to treat acne scars. Since garlic can produce a stinging sensation, make sure to rinse it off immediately if it starts burning.

To use the garlic, finely grate one clove of garlic and mix it with two tablespoons of water. Massage the paste directly to the effected area. Leave the paste on your skin for no more than five minutes because the garlic will begin to remove a layer of scar tissue.

Always apply aloe vera directly to the treated area after you have washed off the garlic paste. The aloe vera will hydrate your skin and provide protection without further irritation.

When you use lemon juice, just squeeze a tablespoon of juice. Using a cotton ball, apply the lemon juice directly to the affected area. Remove the juice after ten minutes using a mild cleanser.

Tomato juice can be also be applied directly to the skin with a cotton ball. Remember to rinse after 10 minutes.

It always pays to use fresh natural products instead of the canned versions. Canned products contain preservatives and additives that my cause side effects and reduce the effect of the natural components.
