Treating acne and laser treatment is becoming quite common as many people have had outstanding results using this method to get rid of acne. Laser treatment is a well-liked method of acne treatment because spots, zits and acne can be eliminated quickly and it's relatively painless. However, it can be quite expensive.

Although it's a rather new method, it's success has been well documented and should give you confidence in it's safety and that it could really help you.

The laser beam emitted from the device reduces the size of the sebaceous glands responsible for acne. Plus, laser treatment is not too painful due to the local anesthetic applied to numb the skin before being zapped.

Nonablative lasers are used to stimulate collagen growth under the skin to tighten the underlying layers of skin, thereby improving the skin tone.

Carbon dioxide (Co2) and erbium lasers are used most commonly for all types of acne and acne scarring as these lasers penetrate quite deeply into the skin.

Reducing acne scars is possible and need not be something to haunt you as long as you live.
