Toxins Causing Pimples

One theory is that it's not bacteria that causes acne but, rather, the real cause is toxins causing pimples.

Unfortunately, in today's environment and climate (unless you are luckily enough to live in the middle of nowhere and grow your own food) it is very difficult to block toxins causing pimples.

Some acidic foods, processed foods, chemically enhanced foods or food with additives can cause imbalances in your body. Even water, air pollution or stress can create these toxins that can invade your body.

If you have too many toxins floating around your body, you may experience one of more of the following symptoms: recurring headaches, low energy, frequent constipation, irritability or acne.

Acne occurs when your body can't remove enough toxins through your kidneys and bowels (which are your first line of defense) and then the second line of defense is your liver. If this is inadequate, toxins will be released through your skin.

It could be said that acne is a sign that the liver is growing weaker in its detoxification abilities. Thus, it's worthwile to see what toxins are in your environment.
